Point-of-Scale Couponing
How Does the Program Work?
- Utilizing Fresh Media Solutions' web-portal, manufacturers may register and schedule coupon offers to be executed.
- The Fresh Media database stores all information (data, graphics, etc.) required for offer distribution to desired locations.
- At start of scheduled offer period, Fresh Media downloads all required offer-related data to selected stores/departments/scales.
- The coupon offer is linked to one or more items that sell in selected department(s). For example, new mustard promotion offer may be linked to a particular cold cut in the Deli department, prompting the delivery of the mustard promotion coupon every time that a particular cold cut is weighed.
- Fresh Media captures the number of coupon-labels generated for your particular offer, and provides reports by store/region.
- Point-of-Sale coupon redemption data is captured for redemption rate reporting.
- The Fresh Media program allows you to set limits (number of redemptions, total value of all redemptions, number of label prints), prompting program termination when desired maximum is reached, controlling your promotion costs.
Note: In order to take advantage of the Fresh Media Solutions program, participating retailers must have an existing scale management system deployed, such as Invatron’s PLUM/ePLUM Scale Management system.
